Last week an online guide called “The researcher’s guide to compliance” (Swe: Forskarens guide till regelefterlevnad) was published on the Staff Pages, and as Research Services has had more than one hand in the game, we’re thrilled to see it go live!
So, what’s it about? In a nutshell, the guide was created as a part of the work related to Lund University’s HR Excellence certification and aims to help researchers navigate all the various rules and regulations that inevitably affect their professional life. The content is arranged under six themes:
- Good research practice
- Conducting research at a Swedish university
- Research funding and project management
- Research-related contracts and intellectual property rights
- Managing research document and research data
- Security issues is research
…and the title is naturally inspired by the world-famous book “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams. We expect the compliance guide to reach equal fame and attention!
